Privacy Policy
Effective August 1, 2026. This policy applies to the PlayLearn iPhone and iPad app.
Our approach
PlayLearn is designed for children and minimizes data by keeping profiles and learning activity on the device. The app does not require an account.
Information stored on the device
A child or parent can enter a first name, age, and avatar. PlayLearn also stores game scores, preferences, earned arcade time, and learning progress locally on that device. PlayLearn does not upload this information.
What PlayLearn does not collect
- No third-party advertising or advertising identifiers.
- No behavioral analytics, cross-app tracking, or personalized advertising.
- No location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, email addresses, or payment information.
- No chat, public profiles, or sharing of user-generated content.
Network use
Some 3D labs download public educational models and media from our content-delivery service. A request contains only the technical information required to deliver the selected file; it does not include a child profile, game score, or learning history. Hosting providers may process standard network information, such as an IP address, solely to deliver and secure those requests.
Parent controls and deletion
The Grown-ups area is protected by a parent PIN and provides controls for content, arcade time, accessibility, and local data. Deleting PlayLearn removes the profiles and progress stored by the app on that device. A parent can also reset local app data from the Grown-ups area.
Children’s privacy
PlayLearn does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and respond.
Changes to this policy
If PlayLearn’s privacy practices materially change, this page will be updated before the related app version is released.
